Workin' like a Dog

Wow, it's been so long since I last updated this blog, but I'll keep this short.

Started work January 24 at ACI as Process Engineer. And to think I sucked so bad at ChE172 that I passed the subject by the skin of my teeth, this beats all the ironies of my entire 22-year life!

It's a great place. All the male operators calls me boss, and the other engineers call me sister/ate/kapatid. I like it so much at the plant, I think I'm turning into a workaholic.

After work I go to the dorm or the nearby canteen. The canteen is a badminton/table tennis paradise! And we have four TVs you can watch simultaneously.

Anyway, it's a great life, although the tax is killing me (P1400 per month or 12% of my salary).

Everyone thinks I'm mucho-talentado. One of the many perks of KEM's training. So far I've drawn their jersey logos for the upcoming Sportsfest, joined a poster-making contest, directed a comedic play for the chinese new year presentation, became stage-mother to the Mr. ACI pageant (we won 2nd place, oha), danced to the tune of Billy Crawford's 'Bright Lights', and holds the record for fastest eater.

Na-aamaze sila. Haha. Wala akong masabi kundi, KEM rules!

Still planning to go on cosplay. Problema nga lang, nawawala na ang mga sasama! Di ko tuloy alam kung tuloy pa. Status, bibili pa lang ng materials. But I have commisioned a dressmaker at payag siyang gumawa at a reasonable (and by that I mean binarat, haha) price.

Have a seminar tomorrow (March 5 to 7) on basic supervisory sa PTTC. So I'll be there all day for the next three days.

I'll update again soon.
