One Day without Cable!

A Weekend Without Cable TV!

Have you ever asked yourself what life would be like without cable TV? I'll tell you: it was horrible! And I'm not exaggerating.

Just leave it to one of SKY CABLE's fat-sweaty-dudes-with-a-ladder-that-could-bearly-support-his-mass to climb up our neighbor's roof and start cutting off the cable lines. Apparently, out of the hundereds of residents in the area, only five homes were legal (read: paying) subcribers! Our connection happens to come from one of our Tita's lines, whose subscription expired long ago. (haha)

And it just had to happen when I was watching the final episode of Galaxy Railways, something I'd been looking forward to seeing since last year! And I thought that was bad, until I realized that we were left with a TV that had up to 125 channels of dead air!

We went nuts! Everybody in the house started to up and leave less than half an hour after the incident. During the afternoon, Me and my brother spent most of the dull hours in the computer shops next door. My-humps went to his classmate's house. At night, we had to try to enjoy a fuzzy screen airing the ever-baduy Captain Barbel and some other rubbish from channel 2. I was glad I had classes on Saturday, to say the least.

It's a good thing Mom finally caved and got our house re-installed with Destiny Cable. I still had to depart with Animax, AXN and (dare I say,) HERO, but it's better than nothing.

A few hours after we got our subscription fixed, I saw a SUSPICIOUS guy talking with my mother about our new connection. I think next week everyone will have free cable again...*sigh*
