>> Shannaro! BSUboy VS UPgirl!
Saturday mornings can only mean to things: one, an 8-hour review class in Manila; and two, seeing that know-it-all classmate from BSU.
I loathe Saturdays because of him.
It's been a month since the review class started, and still I'm peeved with this guy. Not that I'm being judgemental, for all I know he could be a nice guy, but the way he kept babbling with calculations during Fluid Flow class makes him so...so...annoying.
He would always tell about his alternate solutions to problems, and ask questions when he can't get the answer. Now, there is nothing wrong with what he's doing. That is what we are in the review class for. But when the guy keeps doing this at least every 15 minutes, it gets on my nerves.
I don't hate smart guys. Having grown up in an environment that holds the brightest minds in the country, I have grown to become fascinated with geniuses of all fields. What I don't like are smart guys who keep showing off.
There are two kinds of geniuses. The cool kind says his line, wows the crowd, and then steps off the spotlight gracefully and humbly. The plain smartass keeps talking, and just when everyone thinks it's finally over, he raises his hand again.
Other students in class obviously shared the irritation. I would hear whispered requests for him to shut up, or coughs in the background whenever he had a one-on-one Q&A with the professor.
The worst part is that the boy is oblivious to us. He's probably used to it.*sigh*
I've been telling my classmates that I wanted to beat this guy just because he was so annoying. I don't care if he is a magna cum laude. I'm going to prove that he's not the only smart person in class!
june pa lang pala irritated ka na sa kanya. hehe
